Specimen Requirements
- Existing biopsies will usually be sufficient; FFPE or flash frozen. A minimum of 0.5 – 1 mg of tumor tissue would be required to run our core technologies (~10-20 sections). Additional tissue will open the possibility of using additional technologies.
- If available, 0.5 – 1 mg of normal tissue (typically adjacent normal from the same biopsy) enhances the value of the analysis.
- If FFPE, the specimens can be sectioned and placed in Eppendorf vials. SPECIMENS SHOULD NOT BE MOUNTED ON SLIDES.
- Details of the number and labeling of the vials, and the shipping information, depend on the range of technologies being used in the individual case. Please contact CollabRx at 650-681-4581 for more details.
